Compassionate Care,
Community Impact

WTL Health Clinic is more than just a healthcare provider. We are a community-driven organization dedicated to restoring health and transforming lives through accessible, high-quality, and free medical care.

Our Story

Established in 2016, WTL Health Clinic, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing free, high-quality primary care to the residents of Pawtucket and Central Falls, Rhode Island. Our roots trace back to the health ministry initiated at the Empowerment Temple of the International Central Gospel Church in Pawtucket. This initiative laid the foundation for our clinic, reflecting a deep-seated commitment to community health and well-being.

Our Milestones

  • 2016: WTL Health Clinic was founded as an extension of the Empowerment Temple’s health ministry, aiming to address the healthcare needs of underserved populations in our community.

  • 2019: We achieved licensure as an Organized Ambulatory Care Facility in Rhode Island, enabling us to expand our services and enhance the quality of care provided to our patients.

MESSAGE

Akosua Dankwah

Director

What gets me up and going is the passion and care by people and for people. I am talking about our selfless staff and volunteers who give off themselves, time, and excellent expertise to make someone’s day. I am talking about those whom through their hearts of service, cash, and kind donations, help someone receive the quality health care that we all deserve. This is the culture here at WTL Health Clinic. Welcome to a place where we receive in return because we are givers. A place we we follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ who went about “doing good and healing all.”
